Kuinka paljon aurinkosähkövoimala vähentää hiilijalanjälkeä?

THE CARBON FOOTPRINT OF SOLAR ELECTRICITY

Aurinkosähkövoimala vähentää 89kg / MWh CO2 päästöjä. Laskenta suoritetaan suhteessa Suomen keskimääräiseen sähköntuotannon päästömäärään (2024 taso, jonka määrittelee Motiva).

Esimerkiksi, jos kiinteistösi kuluttaa vuodessa 2000 MWh, ja rakennamme sähkönkäytöllenne tyypillisen kokoisen 500 kW aurinkosähkövoimalan, se tuottaa noin 425 MWh sähköä vuodessa. Tällöin vähennätte noin 37 000 KG CO2 päästöjä vuosittain.
