NEVA SOLAR PARK
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Solarigo is developing an industrial-scale solar park in a peat production area of Kuortane's Honkisaarenneva, once peat production has ended. The area of the project area is about 50 hectares. The park's annual production estimate is at maximum 31 GWh. The production corresponds to the electricity consumption of more than 1,500 electrically heated houses. The EU has supported Honkisaarenneva solar park project. The project started in cooperation with the landowners of Honkisaarenneva.
After Solarigo Systems Oy's initial examination, the project was perceived as having potential. Investment support for Large Demonstration Projects of New Energy Technology was applied for the project from EU through Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
