SOLARIGO

Solarigo Systems Oy is developing a solar park in Juva. The project area is located near Orimäentie and Halkokangas. The area is approximately 250 hectares in size, for which the parish of Juva has entered into a land lease agreement with Solarigo Systems Oy. The project area will most likely be specified to about 100 hectares, where the aim is to build an estimated 120,000 solar panels, i.e. a solar power plant with an output of about 75 MWp.

Solarigo will start the process required for the building permit during the beginning of 2025, in which the protected and endangered species and their possible habitats will be investigated. In this context, an EIA needs assessment will also be prepared for the local authorities. After the surveys are completed, Solarigo's goal is to apply for a design needs solution (suunnittelutarveratkaisu) for the solar park from the municipality and eventually a building permit. As the project progresses to the permit, Solarigo will organize a public event to be announced separately, where the municipal residents can come to discuss the topic.

The project area mainly consists of logging yards and stunted logging age forest. Construction of the solar park can start in 2026-2027 at the earliest.

The estimated investment value of the project is several tens of millions, which will be specified when the final project scope is clear.
